Summer Wanes, 2010 Soccer Approaches Sat, Aug. 21 @ 12:00 PM - permalink Registration is complete and 2010 team coach and roster assignments have been made. There will be a coaches meeting this Thursday (Sept 26th) @ 7PM at the Ukranian Social Club @ St. John's. The club is located on St. John's Pkwy across from the church off Virginia Ave (near Arrowhead Christian Books). Coaches will be given their equipment, schedules and rosters as well as some brief information about gameplay this season. Each coach should contact their team as soon as possible after the meeting and decide what pre-season practices they want to schedule. The first games will take place on Sunday, Sept 12th at the JC Primary/Middle School. Also note that team and individual pictures are scheduled for the second week of the season (Sept 19th - rain date Sept 26th). The JCSA looks forward to seeing all of you in just a couple of weeks.

Info for 2010 Players Tue, Aug. 3 @ 1:00 PM - permalink Team selection for 2010 will take place Aug 19th with a coaches meeting to follow on Aug 25th. All players will be contacted immediately afterwards. First games will be played Sept 12th.

Last call for 2010 Tue, Aug. 3 @ 12:00 PM - permalink The 2010 season is quickly approaching. Board members will be making final calls to prior players on August 4th. Any other interested parties should get registrations forms in ASAP.

Game Off (Week 6)! Thu, Oct. 15 @ 12:00 PM - permalink Mother Nature will not be denied an off-week. The fields are already poor and the next 24-36 hours won't improve things. As far as the schedule of games, just continue on to Week 7-Oct 25th as planned.

Game On (Week 3)! Sun, Sep. 27 @ 12:00 PM - permalink The weather is holding so far and the fields are playable so we'll give it a go. Don't stray far from your phones though.

2009 Pictures Mon, Sep. 14 @ 11:00 AM - permalink By now, all parents should have received their photo envelopes for team pictures. If not, don't worry. We'll have extras on hand. Photos will be taken right at the field on 20-Sep. All players should arrive ONE HOUR prior to their normally scheduled games.

Welcome Back! Sun, Sep. 13 @ 6:00 PM - permalink Today was pretty much a perfect day for soccer. A little sun, a little breeze and a whole lot of kids. The JCSA hopes your child enjoyed his first game day and we look forward to seeing you again over the next several weeks.

Board Meeting Rescheduled Mon, Aug. 31 @ 12:00 PM - permalink Due to the start of school, the next Board of Directors meeting has been pushed back to Sept. 16th @ 8:30 PM (at the Knights of Columbus).

Please make special note that all Sunday games are now at the JC Primary/Middle School (Overbrook has been designated a flood zone).
